Italian Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken, cut up
    1/2 tsp. iodized salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. chicken fat
    1 onion, cut
    1 garlic clove, diced
    1 jar Italian cooking sauce
    1 1/2 c. hot cooked spaghetti or rice
Preparation
    Heat skillet to 350\u00b0.
    Season pieces of chicken with salt and pepper, then brown in oil.
    Add onion, garlic and cooking sauce. Cover and reduce to low heat.
    Simmer.
    Cook until meat is tender, 20 to 30 minutes.
    Serve with spaghetti or over cooked rice. Serves 4 or more.
