Basic Preserves(Any Fruit) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. fruit
3/4 qt. sugar
Preparation

Stir well cold.
Cook in heavy pot briskly and stir with wooden spoon.
After juice clarifies, when it will web on silver fork, take off heat.
Let stand for 15 to 30 minutes.
Bottle. Seal with paraffin.
Makes 3 to 4 standard 1/4 pint jars.
