Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
5 or 6 Tbsp. cocoa
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
pinch of salt
2 c. milk
3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
4 Tbsp. margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
Preparation

Combine sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and salt in saucepan. Gradually stir in milk, a little at a time.
Stir constantly until smooth.
When mixture begins to thicken, stir and cook for 2 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Stir a small amount of mixture into egg yolks.
Put egg yolks into chocolate mixture and continue stirring for 2 minutes.
Remove from heat and add margarine and vanilla flavoring.
Pour into pie shell and top with meringue or Cool Whip.
