Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 or 8 apples, cut up
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    6 Tbsp. Wesson or Crisco
Preparation
    Peel and slice\tapples;
    place on bottom of greased 9 x 9-inch pan.
    Add
    water.
    Mix
    dry
    ingredients
    together\tand sprinkle over
    top.\tBake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour, last 15 minutes at
    400\u00b0
    or until golden brown.
    Serve with ice cream or Cool Whip.
