Coconut Pound Cake With Glaze - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. shortening or butter
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. coconut flavoring
    2 tsp. butter flavoring
    1 c. coconut
Preparation
    Cream shortening, sugar and butter flavoring for 10 minutes. Add eggs one at a time. Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Add to cream mixture, then milk and coconut flavoring. Fold in coconut. Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
