Corned Beef Dish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (12 oz.) can corned beef
    3/4 c. uncooked rice
    1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1 green pepper (optional), coarsely cut
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 c. water
Preparation
    In large skillet, break corned beef into pieces.
    Add rice, tomatoes, onion, green pepper, salt, pepper and water.
    Place over high heat.
    Bring to a vigorous boil.
    Turn heat down.
    Cover and allow to cook slowly for 30 minutes or until rice is tender. Serve from skillet if desired.
    Makes 8 servings.
