Spice Raisin Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    3 c. flour
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. cloves
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 box raisins
    2 c. water
Preparation
    Boil raisins in 2 cups water for 10 minutes.
    Save 1 cup of juice for cake.
    Cream shortening, sugar and eggs together.
    Add the rest of ingredients including reserved juice.
    Bake in greased tube pan for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
