Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. applesauce
2 c. sugar
2 1/2 tsp. soda
1/4 lb. butter
2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 box raisins (in 1 c. flour)
1/2 tsp. cinnamon, cloves, etc.
1 c. nuts
1 c. coconut

Preparation

Combine soda with applesauce about 1 hour before mixing cake. Cream butter and sugar, then fold in ingredients.
Bake in 200\u00b0 oven about 2 hours.
If cake is browning too soon, place a pan of water under the cake.
