Lemon Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    juice of 4 lemons (2/3 c.)
    4 oz. butter (1 stick)
    1 lb. sugar (2 large c.)
    4 large eggs
Preparation
    Melt together first 3 ingredients.
    Remove from heat and add beaten eggs.
    Cook slowly, but do not boil, until it coats the wooden spoon.
    (Froth from eggs will disappear as it thickens.)
