Cornbread Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cornmeal
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 can creamed corn
    1 lb. ground beef, browned
    1/2 large onion, chopped
    1 c. grated cheese
    1 mild jalapeno pepper, minced
Preparation
    To make batter, mix cornmeal, milk, baking soda, salt, egg and corn together. Pour 1/2 of the batter into cast-iron skillet. Layer browned ground beef, onion, cheese and pepper.
    Pour rest of batter on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 about 40 minutes.
