Sweetheart'S Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. crushed pineapple
juice of 1 lemon
6 oz. pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese
2 Tbsp. cherry juice
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp. unflavored gelatin
12 maraschino cherries
1/2 pt. whipping cream
Preparation

Heat pineapple with sugar; add softened gelatin (dissolved in 1/4 cup cold water).
Stir until dissolved.
Add lemon juice; let cool.
Mash cream cheese and add finely cut cherries.
Add cherry juice.
Mix with pineapple and chill until slightly thickened. Whip cream and fold into pineapple mixture.
Mold and chill.
