"Cold-Free Family" Chicken Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 whole chicken
    1 onion, chopped
    3 stalks celery, chopped
    1 yellow squash, chopped
    5 or more cloves garlic
    1/2 tsp. cumin
    3/4 tsp. tarragon
    1 pinch of this
    2 bay leaves
    1 pinch of that
    4 Tbsp. whimsy
    rice or noodles
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Place chicken in large stockpot with 12 cups of water.
    Bring to a rolling boil; reduce heat to simmer for one hour.
    Remove chicken; debone.
    Strain stock; return to pot.
    Add remaining ingredients to stock.
    Add chicken (bite-size).
    Bring to boil again.
    Add rice or noodles to thicken.
    Serve with warm bread.
