Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. oats
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 stick margarine
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda

Preparation

Mix oats and water together and let set 20 minutes.
Cream oleo, sugars, and vanilla and add to oat mixture with eggs.
Sift flour, salt, and soda and add to mixture.
Bake 30 minutes at 375\u00b0 in 9 x 13-inch dish.
