Butterscotch Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. milk
    6 Tbsp. flour
    3/4 c. boiling water
    1/8 tsp. salt
    3 egg yolks
Preparation
    Brown the sugar in butter and add water.
    Beat egg yolks and add a small amount of milk and flour.
    Stir until smooth.
    Add rest of the milk and salt.
    Pour into sugar mixture and cook until thick.
    Pour into baked pie shell.
    Make meringue from egg whites or whipped cream.
