Smothered Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large onions, chopped
    4 to 6 stalks celery, chopped
    1 chicken, skinned and cut up
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    In a large pot sprayed with Pam, put all chopped vegetables. Cook at medium heat about 2 minutes, stir occasoinally to keep from browning.
    Add chicken and 1/2 cup of water.
    Cover and cook at medium heat until chicken is done, about 30 to 45 minutes. Serve with rice.
