Oven Caramel Corn - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
1/2 c. dark corn syrup
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
5 qt. popcorn, popped
1 c. dry roasted peanuts
Preparation

Combine syrup, sugar, butter and salt.
Boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in soda.
Pour immediately over corn and nuts in large roasting pan.
Bake in slow oven, 250\u00b0 for one hour. Stir every 15 minutes.
Cool and store in tightly covered container.
Also freezes.
Yields 5 quarts.
