Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 c. Rice Krispies
2 c. oatmeal
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 c. coconut
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add Rice Krispies, oatmeal, eggs and vanilla.
Sift flour with baking powder and soda; stir into first mixture.
Add coconut and nuts.
Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
