Mexican Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 pkg. taco mix
    2 cans chili beans (mild)
    1 (16 oz.) and 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    1 box Mexican Velveeta cheese
Preparation
    Brown meat and drain off grease.
    Mix 1 package of taco mix with meat.
    Add 2 cans mild chili beans to mixture.
    Simmer 10 to 15 minutes on low heat.
    Layer in casserole dish:
    ground beef mixture, sour cream and sliced cheese.
    Repeat layers.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 until hot through and through.
    Serve with chips or crackers.
    A crowd pleaser.
    This makes a large casserole dish full.
