Spiced Fruit - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. water
    2 c. sugar
    4 cinnamon sticks
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    any fresh fruit (i.e., apples, peaches, pears)
Preparation
    Boil ingredients, except fruit, until syrupy.
    Then add washed and peeled fruit and cook until soft.
    Can or freeze.
