Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter or 1 stick butter and 1/4 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 bananas
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. nuts
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add bananas, eggs and vanilla. Alternate buttermilk with flour (having soda and salt presifted into flour).
    Then add nuts.
    Bake at 325\u00b0.
    Bake 1 hour for 2 loaves and 45 minutes for 1 loaf.
