Mildred'S Praline Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1 c. Pet milk
    1/4 tsp. soda
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla or rum flavoring
Preparation
    Mix the first 4 ingredients well.
    Cook to a soft ball stage. Remove from fire and add 2 tablespoons butter and 2 cups pecans. Put back on fire just a few minutes.
    Add 1 teaspoon vanilla or rum flavoring and soda.
    Beat well and drop on wax paper by teaspoonfuls.
    It spreads thin before it sets up.
