Hot Shrimp And Spinach Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. green onions including tops, chopped
    1 garlic clove, minced
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 lb. shrimp, cooked and diced
    1 pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained (do not cook)
    1 can golden mushroom soup
    1 pkg. green onion dip mix
    3 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
    1 (3 oz.) can mushroom pieces and stems
    1/2 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts, sliced
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    dash of Tabasco
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Saute
    the
    onions
    and
    garlic
    in butter or margarine until onions
    are soft.
    Combine all other ingredients except Tabasco, salt and pepper;
    mix well.
    Add to the onion mixture and
    heat slowly,
    stirring frequently, until mixture is hot. Season to taste.
    Pour
    into\ta
    chafing
    dish and serve with assorted crackers.
    Yields 3 cups.
