Stuffed Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head cabbage
1 large can sauerkraut
1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
1/2 lb. ground pork
1 c. warm water
1 egg
1 c. uncooked rice
1/2 medium onion, diced fine
salt and pepper
tomato sauce
Preparation

Cut deeply around core of cabbage to loosen leaves.
Boil cabbage about 5 minutes.
Take leaves apart and allow to cool. Remove about 1 inch from rib of cabbage leaves.
Combine raw meats and add 1 cup warm water.
Add remaining ingredients. Roll ingredients in the cabbage leaves.
Put sauerkraut in large pan. Place cabbage rolls on top.
Add water and enough tomato sauce to cover.
Cook slowly about 2 1/2 hours.
