Italian Cheese Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 stick oleo
1/2 c. Crisco
5 egg yolks
2 c. flour
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1 Tbsp. vanilla
5 beaten egg whites
1 c. coconut
1 c. pecans
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0. Sift flour. Resift flour with soda.
Beat egg whites. Cream sugar, oleo and Crisco. Beat in egg yolks, one at a time. Add flour and soda, buttermilk and vanilla. Fold in egg whites. Mix in coconut and nuts. Put in 3 prepared layer pans. Bake for 25 minutes.
