Cabbage Dish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bacon
    1 head cabbage
    1 small onion
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 cans tomato sauce
    sugar to taste
Preparation
    Fry bacon; set aside and save grease.
    Chop cabbage and onion; fry slowly in grease and add water to steam until tender.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Put cabbage in large dish.
    Break bacon, add tomato sauce and sugar to cabbage.
    Put in oven at 300\u00b0 until heated.
