Crescent Chicken Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can crescent rolls
    1 (4 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. cubed chicken
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 Tbsp. onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. pimento (optional)
    3/4 c. seasoned croutons, crushed
Preparation
    Blend cheese and butter. Add chicken, salt, pepper, milk and onion.
    Mix well.
    Separate rolls into 6 rectangles.
    Seal perforations.
    Spoon 1/3 cup meat mixture onto center of each. Pull up corners and twist slightly. Brush with melted butter. Dip in crushed croutons. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 20 to 30 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven. May divide in 4 parts for larger servings using 1/2 cup chicken per square.
