Apricot Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. soft shortening
    1 egg
    3/4 c. milk
    3/4 c. orange juice
    3 c. flour
    3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 pkg. dried apricots
Preparation
    Mix sugar, shortening and egg thoroughly.
    Stir in milk and orange juice. Add sifted dry ingredients.
    Blend in nuts and apricots.
