Dump Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yellow cake mix
    1 (20 oz.) can undrained crushed pineapple
    1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
    1 c. chopped nuts, if desired
    1/2 c. stick butter or oleo, cut in thin slices
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease a 13 x 2 x 9-inch pan.
    Dump in undrained pineapple.
    Spread into pan evenly.
    Dump in pie filling and spread into a layer.
    Dump in cake mix onto cherry layer; spread evenly.
    Sprinkle nuts over cake mix.
    Put butter slices over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for fifty minutes.
    Serve warm or cold. If wanted, use ice cream or Cool Whip.
