Spanish Rice With Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. hamburger beef
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. Birds Eye frozen corn kernels
    1 c. water
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/2 to 1 Tbsp. chili powder to your taste
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/8 tsp. black pepper
    1 1/2 c. Minute rice
Preparation
    Brown hamburger in large skillet, breaking meat into small pieces and stirring for about 5 minutes.
    Drain grease off meat. Add corn, water, tomatoes and all seasonings and bring to a boil. Then stir in rice and boil about 2 minutes.
    Cover and remove from heat.
    Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
    Makes 4 servings.
    Goes well with a salad and cornbread.
