Buttermilk Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Sift flour, soda, salt and baking powder together.
    Dissolve yeast with sugar in milk.
    Cut shortening with flour.
    Add milk to flour.
    Mix; knead.
    Roll out 1/2-inch thick.
    Cut.
    Brush with melted butter.
    Let rise in warm place for 2 hours.
    Bake until brown in a 450\u00b0 oven.
    Sweet milk may be used instead of buttermilk.
