Caramel Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

30 vanilla caramels or caramel sundae topping
4 c. peeled and sliced apples
3/4 c. flour
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. almonds or walnuts
Preparation

Melt approximately 30 vanilla caramels over a double boiler or use one jar of caramel sundae topping.
Pour over apples and place mixture in an unbaked 4-inch shell.
Combine flour, sugar and cinnamon.
Cut in butter or margarine until mixture is crumbly. Add almonds or walnuts if desired and sprinkle mixture over pie. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 55 to 60 minutes.
