Southern Pecan Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 stick oleo
1 c. sugar
1 1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. oats
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Pour boiling water over oats.
Add oleo and let stand until oleo is melted.
Stir in sugar, eggs and sifted dry ingredients. Turn into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
