Buttermilk Doughnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 fresh eggs
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    3 1/2 to 3 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. ginger
Preparation
    Beat together eggs, sugar, shortening and buttermilk.
    Set aside.
    Combine the following dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger.
    Combine wet and dry ingredients; mix real good.
    Batter should be sticky consistency.
    Refrigerate to make batter easier to work with.
