Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg whites
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Beat sugar into egg whites slowly and add cream of tartar. Beat until dry-light as cotton.
    Add cornstarch and 1 cup sugar. Drop 2 tablespoons on brown paper for each meringue.
    For a cap to cut off, swirl up.
