Fried Apple Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar or equivalent substitute
    3/4 c. flour
    2 cans (10 each) biscuits
    1/2 lb. dried apples (on fruit stands)
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    Crisco shortening
Preparation
    Cover apples with water and bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer for 5 hours until they are the consistency of applesauce or apple butter.
    They will be dark brown.
    Cool.
    Then add sugar, flour, lemon extract and cinnamon and stir well.
