Hot Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    5 cans tomatoes
    1 medium head cabbage, chopped fine
    1 c. vinegar
    1 large onion, chopped
    4 c. ketchup
    1 bell pepper, chopped finely
    1 clove (1 tsp. chopped) garlic
    2 Tbsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. pepper
    1 c. cayenne or jalapeno peppers (for sissies)
    2 c. cayenne or jalapeno peppers (for brave men)
    2 stalks celery, chopped finely
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients.
    Bring to boil.
    Simmer covered on low 1 to 1 1/2 hours or pressure cook on medium to low for 20 to 30 minutes.
    Yields 4 quarts.
