Fergosa (Italian Bread) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 c. Bisquick
1/3 c. milk
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 Tbsp. butter
poppy seeds
1/2 c. chopped onion
Preparation

Combine 1/2 cup cheese, Bisquick and milk. Beat until smooth; will be sticky. Knead 10 times on floured board, working in small amount of flour if too sticky. Butter 8 or 9-inch pie plate and also your hands. Spread in bottom of pie plate. Combine 1 cup of cheese and egg. Spread on crust. Spread on sauteed onion and top with poppy seeds. Bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 minutes. Makes 6 slices.
