Old-Fashioned Jelly Roll - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sifted flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    4 eggs
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. jelly (grape, currant, plum is best)
Preparation
    Sift
    flour,
    baking powder and salt; combine with eggs in bowl.
    Beat with
    rotary
    beater;
    turn
    into
    greased and floured pan.
    Bake
    in
    hot oven at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes. Turn pan onto cloth, covered with confectioners sugar.
    Spread with jelly. Roll at once.
    Wrap in cloth.
    Cool.
    Now slice.
