Advent Crescents - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    pinch of salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. ground almonds
    1 c. butter
    3 egg yolks
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    powdered sugar for sprinkling
Preparation
    Sift flour and salt into a bowl.
    Mix in sugar and almonds. Make a well in the center.
    Add butter, egg yolks and extract to the well.
    Mix well using hands.
    Refrigerate 30 minutes.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Shape dough into tiny balls, then make ropes out of each ball.
    Place on cookie sheet and curve each into a crescent shape.
    Bake until lightly brown.
    Cool; roll in powdered sugar.
