Fresh Green Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. green beans
    1 small onion, diced
    salt and pepper to taste
    4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
    1/4 lb. butter
    6 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 pt. sour cream
    3 c. cold water
Preparation
    Clean and cut beans into 1 inch lengths.
    Wash thoroughly. Cook beans and onion in water until beans are tender.
    Add potatoes and cook 20 minutes.
    Melt butter in skillet; add flour and cook until browned.
    Pour into soup.
    Cook on medium for 5 minutes.
    Mix sour cream with 1 cup cold water until milk-like. Set aside.
    Remove soup from heat.
    Let cool 1/2 hour.
    Pour sour cream mixture slowly into soup, stirring constantly.
    Add 2 to 3 tablespoons white vinegar to soup.
    Return to heat.
    Bring soup to a boil and remove from heat.
    Serve hot.
