Crunchy Celery Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. chopped celery (about 5 ribs), cooked for 7 minutes in salted water and drained
    1 can water chestnuts, sliced
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    3 1/2 oz. pkg. slivered almonds
    1 stick margarine
    32 Ritz crackers, crushed
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Combine the first 3 ingredients and put in an 8-inch casserole dish.
    In the microwave, saute the almonds with the margarine for about 2 to 2 1/2 minutes.
    Pour almonds over the crushed crackers and toss lightly.
    Spread cracker mixture over celery mixture.
    Bake for 30 minutes.
    Makes 8 servings.
