Chocomint Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. crushed candy cane
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg yolk
1 pkg. devil's food cake mix
Preparation

Beat softened shortening and egg yolk until thoroughly blended.
Add the candy cane and cake mix and mix.
Roll into golf ball size balls and place on cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 10 minutes or until no impression is left when lightly touched.
Remove to cooling rack immediately and sprinkle with powdered sugar when cooled.
