Apple Cobbler - cooking recipe

5 apples, thinly sliced
3/4 c. light brown sugar
2/3 c. margarine, softened
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. milk
1 1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Place apples and 1/4 cup sugar in a greased casserole.
In a medium bowl, mix butter and remaining brown sugar until smooth. Add egg and milk.
Combine flour and baking powder; spread mixture evenly over apples.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 40 minutes.
