Ingredients

8 oz. cream cheese (room temperature)
1/4 c. butter (1 stick)
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. milk
12 oz. preserves (apricot or pineapple)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cream together the cream cheese, butter and sugar.
Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Add vanilla.
Sift together and add alternately, dry ingredients with milk.
In a greased 9 x 13-inch pan, spread 1/2 the batter in pan.
Cover with preserves; top with more batter.
Bake for 45 minutes.
