Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. strawberries
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 baked pie crust
Preparation
    Stir cornstarch into sugar.
    Crush 2 cups of strawberries.
    Mix sugar and berries in pan.
    Cook until it boils, stirring constantly; boil until sauce thickens (about 10 to 12 minutes). Slice the rest of the berries into the pie (baked) shell.
    Pour cooled sauce over the top of the fresh berries.
    Chill and top with whipped topping (Cool Whip) before serving.
