Ingredients

2 pt. extra ripe strawberries
3 c. sugar
2 c. water
2 lemons (juice)
Preparation

Puree strawberries.
Make sugar syrup with water and sugar. Cook until clear.
Mix strawberry puree, syrup and lemon juice. Taste; may need more sugar due to tartness of lemon.
Freeze in home ice cream freezer until firm enough to hold shape.
Put in freezer.
Serve as soon as possible.
