Classic Fettucine Alfredo - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. oil
1 c. heavy cream
1 c. Parmesan cheese
desired amount fettucine
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/4 c. minced shallots or onions
Preparation

In medium sized skillet over medium-low heat, heat oil and butter until butter melts.
Add shallots or onions and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
Reduce heat to low.
Add cream and cook about 4 minutes, stirring constantly with wire whip.
Stir in cheese.
Meanwhile, cook fettuccine according to package directions; drain.
To serve, in large bowl, toss hot fettuccine with cream sauce.
