Cinnamon Ornaments - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 small box cinnamon (1.12 oz.)
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. ground cloves
3 level Tbsp. applesauce
3 Tbsp. sawdust (optional)
florist wire
scissors or wire cutters
cutting board

Preparation

Mix together dry ingredients in plastic bag.
Add applesauce, one tablespoon at a time.
Dough will seem dry, but will form a ball.
Pat a small amount on cutting board 1/4-inch thick.
Cut with cookie cutter.
Cut a small piece of wire and bend to form a \"U\" shape.
Insert into top of shape.
Let air dry for 1 or 2 days. Makes about 20 small ornaments.
