Orange Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt, added to buttermilk
1 tsp. soda, added to buttermilk
4 eggs
2 Tbsp. orange rind
juice of 1/2 orange
Preparation

Cream sugar and butter.
Add whole eggs, one at a time, and beat after each.
Add half of flour and buttermilk.
Beat for one minute.
Add remaining flour and buttermilk and the flavoring. Beat 2 minutes more.
Bake in tube pan for 1 hour at 350\u00b0. Toothpick test when done.
