Paska(Traditional Slavic Easter Bread) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. butter
    1 3/4 c. milk
    1/2 c. raisins, rinsed
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 smal cakes yeast
Preparation
    Scald milk and let cool.
    Mix together dry ingredients.
    Cut butter into dry ingredients until crumbly. Place 1/2 cup of milk (at lukewarm temperature).
    Add yeast (crumbled) and 2 teaspoons sugar into a medium sized saucepan or bowl.
    The yeast will be activated and mixture will become foamy.
    This may take 10 to 15 minutes.
